A propos de moi
“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.” – Viktor Frankl.
Chris Martin trained as a clinical psychologist here in Lausanne, and then specialised in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to become a psychologist specialised in psychotherapy.
He has been working with children and their families for over ten years now, and from 2014 to 2020 worked in Geneva with adults in an individual setting. He continues his work with adults and teenagers.
Chris Martin would willingly accompany you through different difficulties and moments in life: stresses at home or at work, difficulty in adapting to a new life style in a foreign country as well as the feelings (like anxiety, depression, burnout), thoughts (for example “I can’t do this”, “I’m not up to it”) and behaviours (such as disorders relating to sleeping, eating, & substance abuse) that can arise during these times.
Originally from the UK, he has been working in the healthcare system in Switzerland for over two decades. His experience, humanity, and belief in personal growth allow him to apply his knowledge in the most challenging of situations.
Chris Martin is an FSP accredited Psychologist and Psychotherapist. His specialisation in Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy, as well as his recognition by the Public Health Service in Switzerland (Service de la santé publique) allow reimbursement of sessions with health insurance (under certain circumstances) as well as additional insurance (Assurances Complémentaires).
