Anne Martine Verhoeven

I am a Dutch psychologist providing psychological consultations for adults in Geneva, Switzerland.  Since 2017 I have been working as a psychologist in the Netherlands and the United States in the field of psycho-oncology, the field of (behavioural) addiction and clinical psychology.  During these years I have developed a particular interest in neurodevelopmental conditions, such as AD(H)D and autism, and in learning about adaptive functioning with a neurodivergent mind in our current society. Over the years I have gained experience in the consultation of psychological difficulties such as anxiety, addiction, trauma, depression, adjustment issues and in relationship counselling. 

I am trained in interventions and treatment protocols from various evidence-based therapy orientations, such as EMDR, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and the Gottman method.
In my work, I like to provide people with the tools to better understand and regulate their thoughts and emotions and to handle their life situations.
